FAITH, FOOD & FELLOWSHIP

Topic:         Featuring Tom Fuoco. Mark your calendar and plan to join us on May 12th at 7:30 AM!

Tom Fuoco is a public defender for Allegany County. Over 3 years ago Tom experienced a tear in his aorta, and had to be brought back to life on a mercy flight from Wellsville, NY to Rochester. Doctors were able to save Tom's life, but he was just beginning to see some of the tremendous physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges that were in store for him.

Through genetic testing it was discovered that Tom has a very rare tissue disorder. This disorder caused dislocations of his joints, but even more problematic is it expands his arteries. Tom had to have his entire aorta replaced, from neck to pelvis. Aortic replacement surgery is done in 3 separate surgeries spanning over a year. After the second surgery Tom's heart failed, and he needed a heart transplant. Tom was literally a day or two away from meeting the Lord. Miraculously, a match was found.

Tom loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is his desire to share his story of what God has taught him through the valley of the shadow of death.

Time:                 Starts @ 7:30 AM

Location:         Alfred Almond Bible Church

One small way we seek to encourage and equip men is through scheduled meetings of Faith, Food & Fellowship coupled with Bible-study, prayer, and spiritual encouragement. The goals of these breakfast meetings are:

        • Prayer & learning to bear one another’s burdens.
        • Christian friendship, brotherhood, and accountability.
        • Challenging each other to grow spiritually, mentally, and socially.
        • Learning from one another.
        • Encouragement in loving our wives & children, and in leading our families.
        • Learning how God wants to use us (as a group & individually) to make our church stronger and bring glory to Him!

Of course you don’t have to be the perfect Godly man in order to join us. Rather than being men of perfection, we are striving to be men who are headed in the right direction – men after God’s own heart. We believe that men should be constantly building each other up, teaching and discipling each other, but most importantly we come together to glorify our Lord.

During this time, we build new friendships and make existing ones stronger. Bring your sons, a friend, or a neighbor. Feel free to join us!
