It's not easy to talk about hell. But it is important. Clarity about what happens to people when they die and, then, what happens after that is given to us in the Bible. Sometimes we need to slow down and pay closer attention to what the Bible actually says and allow it to correct other voices--whether they be from tradition or culture or some hodgepodge of both--that can shape our thinking. The Bible speaks plainly about the final destination of human beings who remain in rebellion against God during their lifetime. Jesus has done the decisive work to ensure that those who trust him will not go there. Let's seek to grow in our appreciation for what he's saved us from.
