Are you a cynic? Do you always feel like nothing is what it seems? This attitude can have a negative effect on how we pray to God as many times we can become cynical about God and why prayer matters. We may ask things like: "Will God really answer my prayers?", "Does prayer even matter?", or even "Is God really good?".
